    Hey guys.

I'm building a project that includes a XBee S1 (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8664). I want to put the project in a metal case (wood and plastic isn't strong enough for my application) to keep it safe, but obviously that would block the wireless signals to the XBee. To deal with this problem, I was thinking of attaching one of these (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/662) and having it go to an external antenna ( https://www.sparkfun.com/products/145). The problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to antennas and connectors. Are the two items I just provided correct for my application / will they work with a XBee. If not, what would do the trick? I'd like to get it right before spending money on something that doesn't work! =)

Nobody? I would think using an external antenna with a Xbee would be a fairly common thing.
