I have an upcoming practical test that involves an electrically interlocked foward/reverse motor control using a PLC. I know what the ladder logic diagram will look like (exactly as shown in volume IV, chapter 6), and I know what the PLC program will be... My question is, exactly how will the motor be wired at the output(s) of the PLC? I don't know if the motor will be DC or AC...
Any assistance, especially a diagram or picture, would be greatly appreciated.

Check the PLC output. You may find it will source a relay more willingly than an electric motor.

out put directly you can not take out you choose first any contactor through relay then operate then motor ac or dc no problem you can use it without any problem

First you have to know the kind of motor and then find how you use it.
