I am very interested in wireless power transfer, I understand that resonant frequency must applies on both coils in order to obtain energy at the secondary coil. My question is how much power does the primary coil need to transfer over 12 inches or 24 inches so that secondary coil receive the energy.
Is there any formula that allows me to calculate the power requirement?
Is it true that it depends upon the design of coil and thickness of wire? Can I use high voltage in order to allow the primary coil to send the energy further?
