Wireless Earth?

I came across someone claiming he had a patented 'wireless earth' device, used to counter epilepsy. This device is meant to detect EM radiation, and act as if it were an earth. This sounded quite odd to me, but is there a theoretical problem with it existing?

I don't know, but it does sound dubious. There is a lot of snake oil out there.

I would assume it is a scam.

Device to detect EM radiation not out of line. But... What evidence is there that EM radiation has any effect on epilepsy. And the 'wireless earth' thing really has the smell of something rotten in patent land. Or some sort of lunacy. Certainly do not part with any of your money on this one.

Sounds to me like an electronic Faraday cage described by someone ignorant of the concept of a Faraday cage.

Also sounds like a complete load of bull.
