I am new to microcontrollers stuff. So I need your help in my project.
I have a PWM microcontroller board having 5A drivers and I am happily running 12V DC motors using a PC. I now want to control a PMDC motor (1 hp, 180V, 5A) using PC via this board. For the same, I am planning to use an OpAmp as an inverting amplifier with gain 15 which will amplify the PWM signal.
I found OPA549 (http://www.ti.com/product/opa549) by Texas Instruments interesting but I am need some advice before buying it.

Bad idea to use an opamp to invert a PWM signal unless the PWM frequency is very low as PWM signals go. That's what digital inverters are for. Getting the signal up to 180V and 5 A is a whole 'nother matter. It would be best to find a ready-made design that you can tweak to your needs than to start from scratch.
