Is there a Wi-Fi ad-hoc module which cana be used together with the iPhone?
wwith no internet connection, no wireless router, just the iPhone + module + dedicated SW app.

Don't know about the iPhone but Android phones have a WiFi hotspot option which, when turned on, allows other devices to connect to the phone over WiFi. May be worth checking if the iPhone has something similar
