Why we need a reply button for ourself?

When we posted a thread or reply to someone, the right bottom of the messages has a reply button, it's very strange, why we need a button to reply for ourself?

 

So we can reply to OurSelf..!! DUH!!

 

Because sometimes we like to quote ourselves.

If someone the vision as an ants then he will just living in the 2D world.
If someone the vision as a dog then he might depends on the noise to sense everything.
If someone the vision as a big tree then he will see the whole view and enjoy the sunlight.
