Hello
I was using OrCAD for schematic drawing and PCB routing.(No circuit simulation.)

Now I am using (Learning!) Proteus for simulation.
Recently I came across another tool Multisim and Ultiboard. (EW).

What are the pros and cons or specialties between these two choices?( Proteus and EW)

My use id for circuit simulation, schematic drawing and PCB routing.

My work is mainly in MCU based devices or circuits.

OrCad has simulation features.


I have used Proteus a few times and EW many times. I find EW to have better graphics and stuff like that but Proteus has more components in its library. Also, I think you can download components from the web foe the EW.
