Which terminal is positive?

    Take a close look at the image, you can see that there is a silver stripe on the left side on the black plastic tube that surrounds the capacitor. It's only visible to the left of the left-hand terminal.

    Aluminum electrolytic capacitors have their negative terminal identified with a stripe.

    I don't see a stripe on the plastic cover on the capacitor. It has black paint on one rivet that holds the negative terminal.
