I'm trying to replace a mechanical button (just a contact that either connects power supply on or off) with a simple capacitive button.

Is there a place I can buy one that is basically set up with an electrode already?
    Kind of like this one

But this one has a signal line instead of simple on off connection. And has that connector which I am not sure what it is for

I found some ICs, but that means I would have to etch an electrode on a pcb and connect resistors and caps as well. Any ideas?

Farnell (Element14) have some in their catalogue in the "switches" section. They are not cheap.
