Well, I'm studying computer engineering but I also really love Robotics and Electronics, even if I'm just a really new beginner.
I really learn things by doing projects, so I'm really interesting in making my own robotic hand (that can move electrically, buttons, sensors, etc.) before deciding to really go into this section also. (That's how I went to programming, by doing a CMS in php, it was very hard even if some people can do it in 3-4 hours, I was with 0 knowledge).

I have found a few things, but wow, this category is really expensive. My budget is around $120.00 for this project.

I have seen some amazing robotic hands, that I wish I could do in the future, such as:

I really LIKE THAT SO MUCH, I would even invest my whole salary on it if it was enough.(Talking about the first link)

I know isn't easy, but please something easy to understand (as easy as possible).

    Thanks A LOT.

Im designing a robot my self and im a beginner in robotics as well. I have studied electrical engineering but still fairly new to robots. I am trying to build a simple robot that can detect obstacles and avoid them by stoping and then reversing to move in some other direction. But the hand robot that you've posted links for are a little advanced and in my knowledge, wont be the best beginners project. Try to aim for small so that you can achive it and once your mastered that, you can easily transistion into some of the intermidiate projects. But this is my opinion, other members might think otherwise. Best of luck!!!

If you google "line follower robot"..tonnes of links will pop up, some with even instructions as how to build one..try that. Also, youtube it..you'll see a lot of them there as well. Or you can try building a robot that autonomously avoids obstacles. Thats the one that im trying to do. I already built and tested my IR prxoximity sensor. Now ive going to PIC phase of the robot. I still have a lot of head way to make for it. Try another forum dedicated to robotics. You might find further help there.
