where can find datasheet of transistor to check

    where can find datasheet of transistor to check

    the transistor is npn or pnp

    the transistor is a three terminal device <Base ,emitter,collector>
    either NPN or PNP the middle letter indicates the base

    for Example if the transistor say 2N3904 it's NPN

    The very best places to find the data sheet are at the manufacturer's site or a distributor's site.

    Here is a good starting point:

    Transistor Manufacturers & Suppliers

    At this site, you can search for the specific transistor by searching for it's part number.
