Benchtop variable power suppy. Most I'm seeing have 10mA resolution. The ones I see with 1mA resolution are expensive. I cannot find any at all that have .1mA resolution.

 

Never confuse resolution for accuracy. Digital panel meters often have resolution that is orders of magnitudes tighter than the actual accuracy of the measurement circuit inside. Current is measured by the V drop across a resistor and getting precsion power resistors can be difficult and very hard to find better than 0.1%.
