thanks, I knew it was in the Indian ocean but I was curious because the dividing line between the Arabian Sea and the Lakshadweep Sea appear to run straight through the island chain.
I was into the seas at a young age.
But who really cares that the Sargasso Sea is just to the east of Florida?
What does all the "ocean" talk have to do with vaccination?
By pure coincidence someone introduced me to this theory 2 days ago.
I can't say how much of it is true.
My wife recently knew two nurses who independently told her that they do NOT vaccinate their children because they don't believe it was necessary.
One thing is for sure, it would be very difficult if not impossible to prove a relationship between profitseeking of pharmaceutical companies and (fraud) vaccination. Only a statistic could tell. Who wants to be the guinea pig?
I'm with Georacer. I'd still get the shots. The great thing about a NHS is that they are all free. I just turn up, get my injection, and look forward to (hopefully) years of illness free life. Wether that's true - you'll have to find out later.
Conspiracy theorists bore me. They tend to get most of their fact wrong, but aren't interested in the facts anyhow.
Truth is, anyone who does not get their vaccinations is depending on herd immunity, they are not pulling their weight. Everyone else takes the relatively minor risks while they a latent disease vectors.
Polio is making a come back because many backward countries are suspicious that the west is up to no good. It is basically the same logic in a different package. Tuberculosis is on the rise too, because people do not take these diseases seriously.
Fortunately small pox is gone, but it would still be here if people adopted the above attitudes.
The Black Death during the mid-evil ages took 1 out of 3 people. They had no way to prevent it. Makes the current excuses look lame IMO.
