What to look for in a PCB manufacturer?

    First of all, how do you guys find your pcb manufacturers?

    Second, how do you choose between all the options out there?

    Work of mouth mostly. You'll probably get several recommendation with this thread. I make my own PCBs, they aren't as good but the prices are much better.

    I've seen other members and threads here recommend some in China, and I think I saw one in USA.

    Here in my company they are sending the gerber file to PCB manufacturer.

    Price/location/delivery/capability.. Just like any other company..

    I understand price is a big concern to most of us, especially during times like these, but how else would you discern a company?

    I usually look at certifications, which I feel is a good indicator of quality. To me I will purposely leave out footprints/traceability codes, just to see if they will remind me.

    I apologize if I'm drawing this out too much, but everyone's input is assisted me in creating a Guide on how to Qualify Printed Circuit Board Manufacturers before you buy. Any input on improving that guide will be much appreciated, or even specific things you do to qualify them.
