Hi all. I am new here and a newbe. I came across a bunch of capacitors and not sure what I can do with them. Will leave a pic of them.
Here are the values:
0.25uf 250v
1uf 250v
2uf 250v
5uf 100v
10uf 100v
100uf 64v
220uf 64v
50uf 25v

Put them in a box and use them when you have an electronics project idea. Capacitors are rarely the justification to build a project. They are cheap, passive devices. Anything interesting will have many other parts.

I am curious about the marking on the capacitor on the very left of the picture. It has the capacitor symbol connected to a square wave drawing. Is it intended as a suppressor (capacitor + resistor) rather than a simple capacitor?

Hello,

I see wich capacitor you mean:

capacitor.jpg

That is likely a combination of a capacitor with a resistor in one part.
The values of both the capacitor and resistor will be mentioned on the part.
Those are often used as snubber circuit.
