I am currently studying a book called "Electricity One Through Seven" By Harry Mileaf. I am wondering if anyone has studies this book before and if there is a way to take some kind of official test so the training can be recognized. Thanks.

 

I would imagine so but plan on reading many books not just one series. Seems each writer has their own take and own analogies on electronics and everyone seems to have it click put in different ways. I had to read about 15 books on hardware, uC's, and everthing in between before things started to click. Also learning it in a book is not near the same as actually doing the lab and seeing what happens. I'm sure its the same in all tech fields but the gap between textbooks/schooling, and the real world gets larger everyday.
