like many notebook CPU from the mid 90's, the ALU is sperate from the cache chips and is etched in TFT rather than hard glass?
all the cache chips are regular CMOS packaging and surround the logic unit which has a single copper heatsink on top on the substate.
what is this packaging called? I thought all modern microprocessors were hard silicon?
