Lately, I've been having a problem with a system process called "NTKernel" which uses about 50% of the CPU and it's causing some programs to become nonresponsive.

If I go to Resource Manager, I can see NT Kernel continuously running and I'm tempted to use the "stop process" option. However, I've refrained from hitting the stop option.

I finally clicked the Stop Process for NT Kernel and CPU dropped to near zero.

My computer is still up and running and no mushroom cloud over my desk. :p
