What is electricity

    I am a new student, my teacher asked us what is electricity on our first day. Any ideas ,how I should answer this question?

    Electricity is the flow of particles (electrons) from negatively charged objects to positively charged objects. That is static electricity. Non-static electricity (whatever it's called, can't remember) is the flow of free electrons.

    You could memorize or read this as an answer, until the teacher starts sweating, and peeing, and the eyes tearfully rolling into blank...
