What is a 225K/400V capacitor

    Just come across a really interesting article on capacitors and they mention amongst others a 225K capacitor 400V.

    What is the value of this capacitor and how do you work it out. I assume its a 400V capacitor cant seem to find a conversion chart or anything similar.

    That is 22*10^5 pF a.k.a. 2.2uF
    K stands for +/10% tolerance.
