What do you call this connector?

    I suspect it's not meant for a lot of inserting and removing? Is it common for some pins to get recessed in the connector?

    Looks like it may be a card slot. How about an overhead view?

    Sorry not a card slot it's a main board for a projector that plugs into the DLP main DMD board, I ended up finding out what the issue is, not sure how a DMD chip which sits in the socket like a CPU lifts out of a socket with a large heatsink on the backside of it screwed down.. odd.
