Must be a great deal. :)

Did a WHOIS lookup, and Sharkybids was registered in California US...

I thought most scammers was from either Nigeria or from east Europe, like Romania or some poor country...

Jeeeeeeeeeeez...Why do I end up with all these things..

Today I called the Maldivian national TV, NMBC1. I asked them if they have any sort of awareness program thingy that informs people about internet scams.
The cute voice said that they have so I told about the scams going on and she said she will inform the department and they will check on it.

I would be mad too if I spent a cent on a 1,799$us camera and didnt get it..

I have used Quibids. Worked great.

I got a hi res webcam delivered for .32 cents.

There ARE scam "penny bid" sites.

But with the REAL ones you will drive yourself crazy.

They say 15 seconds left! so you wait.......3..2...1 BID!

Time resets to 15 seconds again.

If you bid at 14 seconds, it resets.

Same as in an auction house. (Going once going twice, OHHH I got 3.2 million for a date with retched) ;)

They are in fact a scam.

There any many sites on the interwebz that follow these in detail.

I would recommend research before ever spending money on any site.

    WATCH your urls!

The thing about these penny auctions, is they are the MOST valuable when they first launch to the customer.

QuiBIDS was only a week old when I won and there was hardly anyone on.

    Scamsters know this.

Now a new penny auction site gets JAMMED with people in the first month, cashes in and closes. All before next months credit card bill arrives.
