So im building my own water dancing fountain that looks like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Dancing...or-Phones-Computer-Laptop-Black-/111793096302
Ive bought 4 of those, removed the electronics inside.
I placed the housing on top of each other and want to build a VU meter: http://www.circuitsonline.net/schakelingen/sch/000059.gif
i want to replace the leds with a 3v motor:http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-5-3V-2700...Cylinder-Electric-Mini-DC-Motor-/311399707594
but before i can do that of have to place this instead of leds: http://www.circuitsonline.net/forum/file/11440/forum-post
But my problem is that im not experienced with electronics and dont know which components to pick.
