This story just hit me when I was reading a thread about using Headphones while watching TV's.

As far as I can tell this story goes way back to the ages of CRT which uses live chassis in some during those days.

This is a true story of a Maldivian who made a headphone to watch porn on his TV with sound while he is alone in the house.

I can't remember the name but who ever he was, The story always gets a kick out of me
This guy loves to watch porn, but due to people around and closeness of neighbors he can never get the volume up. So he came up with the idea to use a headphone so he can hear all the aaaah!! ..oooh! yaaah!...
I really dunno where he got the headphone from. Those days they have big ones with metal head bands and all.
What he did was he opened up the TV, striped the headphone wire & connected it to the TV's Speaker terminal. All was set

When he was alone in the house, he set up a nice snack and a couch and settled down to watch the film. After inserting the tape, put the headphone, took the remote, switched on the TV.

Next thing he knew was his wife or somebody I really dunno was trying to wake him up. The TV was showing Porn and this guy is lying on the floor.

He did not know what the heck happened. The last thing he remembers was, pressing the standby button on the remote and then he saw "Lightning". After a hr or so he was woken up and caught watching porn, or rather not watching porn.

So how the heck did he ended up on the floor with a hangover

This shud be an award for Stupid Maldivians

Yes it was funny. I can picture the scene. R!f@@ lying senseless on the floor with burnt earlobes and smoke coming from his hair. With a lot of strange grunting and gargling sounds from the TV, and his furious mother standing in the doorway. As I guess this happened some time ago then R!f@@ was younger and not so experienced. To day R!f@@ would not have done such a poorly job connecting the headphones

Uh Huh, you figured it out too. R!f@@ got cold busted. I bet he got a better set of headphones after that!!!! Too funny, but hey we all do stoopid things from time to time it keeps life interesting if nothing else.

The mantra of this site is transformer. And I am sure if eh...this person had used a proper isolation transformer/audio transformer. R!f@@ would not have been able to share this anecdote form his younger days.
