Hey guys. I am trying to calculate the Voltage Transfer Characteristic (VTC i.e. Vout vs. Vin) of a simulated circuit in Multisim but for some reason it doesn't appear to be working. I pressed Simulate --> Analyses ---> DC Sweep --> Selected the input pulsed voltage as source 1 and the output variables as Vout and Vin. However, the graph still shows both of these mentioned voltages separately. Could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I attached the pictures of the circuit and the results.

    Thank you all very much.

Only school kids and teachers use Multisim.
    Did you ask your teacher?

I chose Multisim because it is my simulator of choice, but I can pick any simulator that I like. My TA suggested I use Multisim because that is the one he uses, but there is no obligation of him or anyone teaching me how to use it since whichever simulator we use is our own choice.

Most of us use the free simulator program LTSpiceIV from Linear Technology.
Most teachers do not know about it.

You show Vdd as a variable source which you don't want. Use only Vpulse as the variable source.

I consider Multisim a good simulator with useful features unavailable on LTSpice. I've used its predecessor, Electronic Workbench for many years.
