    Hi guys

I am new to electronics, and for my first circuit I need to reduce the voltage of the power supply from 12V to 9V, without reducing the current. How can I do this? I tried resistor division, but this reduces the current to too low a level.

The power supply voltage is also quite volatile, i.e. can range from anything between 5V to 13.7V. Is it possible to regulate / stabilise this in some way to keep it at 9V?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick reply!

1A will be more than enough, I need 0.33A
