Hello,
I need to control a VCTCXO around 1.5V (+/-1V).
I don't know if doing it by:

1 - PWM filtered + Voltage reference with low offest op amp
2 - DAC
3 - Any other solution?

What are the advantages and drawbacks of each implementation?
What are the criterias I should consider?

Thanks,

YH

What is the application, a phase-locked-loop?
  1. The DAC will allow faster step-response times and very low ripple after settling. What is your requirement?
  2. The PWM method is usually slower, because of the filtering required to keep the ripple from modulating the VCTCXO output beyond what is exceptable. What is acceptable?
The best choice will depend on all the little details. Post a schematic.
