    in step 4, on terminal board, wire connection should go from R6 (-) polarity to R7(-) polarity,not to R7(+) polarity.

    Basics are important.

    Resistors do not have polarity.

    That they are... What exactly are you suggesting the problem is? If you are suggesting the connection is on the wrong side of the resistor, see MrChips' post.

    I didn't see anything wrong with the connections at first blush.

    I don't even know which diagram the OP is referring to. What would even make him think a resistor is in backwards?
