    Hi all,

I've recently decided to get into programming, and whilst in Waterstones the other week, I bought a book Beginning Visual C++ 2008 by Ivor Horton.

However, I didn't relise that the only version of Visual 2008 I can download is the Express version, which the book specifically says not to use with it!

I've tried looking, but can't find it anywhere. Can anyone supplement a link where I can download it? Or perhaps you have a CD with it which I could buy?

I'd really appreciate some help, the book was fairly pricey, and I don't want it to be a waste. :(

    Thanks,

    Sparky

P.S. On a side note, does anyone know it Design Spark has a coin cell holder within it?

I learned C# using the Microsoft express editions and got on OK.
Its a bit of an uphill struggle to start with but worth it.
I stareted off by doing simple things and gradually worked up to a PCB design program with 500,000 lines of code.
I also got a little into Direct x and XNA.
