These things usually use stepper motors, which turn in precise increments, and a combination of belts and pulleys to turn those precise increments into motion as required. The rest is software and mechanical engineering.

I don't know the cutting mechanism of this machine, perhaps laser? But other than the cutter, this machine is very much like a printer. Instead of laying down dots of ink, it cuts. Anything you learn about how a printer works, would apply to this machine.

Hello,

It will likely use a water beam for cutting the vinyl.
The water beam can have a pressure of several 100's of bars.
A laser beam is likely not used, as it will melt the vinyl.

Vinyl cutters use a rotating cutter (knife), depth can be set so it cuts the vinyl without cutting the backing paper. I have a small Roland machine but they all work the same.

it has blade which can rotates at 360* i think the movement of vinyl decide it direction.
