hi i'm new in vhdl , wanted to know how to measure area by xilinx ise 13.1 and other question i want some full vhdl project please introduce me websites like opencores.org please help me thanks.

If you read the implementation (Place and Route) report, it gives you the resource usage, both in elecments (ie LUT's) and precentage of each resource.
