I have a few IV-22's and IV-8's I am using to attempt clock building. So two clocks at the moment are my goal. I just wonder where to start. I know IV-8 needs 6.5vac pk-pk at 185 Hz for cathodes and 18v dc for anodes. The IV-22's need 9v dc for anodes and 10.5v ac pk-pk for cathode. I am a newbie with VFD's but not electronics. I had to actually learn a bit of russian to figure out what I do know. I have read in places that you can us dc on the AC but don't want to chance it until it is confirmed. My micro-controller of choice is a MC68SEC811E2 and that uses 5 volts. Any help is appreciated/ideas are appreciated

Thanks,
Adrian
