our prject is still elevator....

our problem now is that our transistion from floor 3 to floor 2.. as the elevator goes down, and is caught in between the said two floors it goes back to 3rd floor.. and this due to our CLC(combinational logic circuit)..

now our adviser said that the problem could not be only solved by simple CLC design, its a combination of CLC and SLC( sequential logic control using flip-flops) design..

now, how can we combined both CLC and SLC that it will drive our DC motor.. we used "D flip-flops" in our SLC in which has 3 outputs..

or do have any other suggestion to cope with our problem??

 

I always thought that a D flip-flop has only one ooutput. Anyways, can you post a schematic of what you have so far?

 

yes D flip flops has only one output.. but, i cannot explain here directly.. i will post out schematic diagram as for the moment..
do you have any other suggestion on the design?? to make it easy..^^
