Hy all..
Am a second year degree student of computer applications.
Our mini projects must be in vb6. So am planning to make a medical store management
application as my mini project , because i own a medical store and which is not computerised. Am also planning to run this application on my store. But many of my friends told me that vb is not good for application development since it lacks realiability.
Is it correct?? If so what are the disadvantages of using vb6 in application development??
Plz help me out...

VB6 was known as the best , most versatile, stable, just downright useful of all the versions.

That said, Microsoft has moved onto managed code for many reasons, and VB6 is no longer supported. It is supposed to run on every version of windows up to and including the latest version 8.

You should have a useful application you can use for some time, but eventually (perhaps in a decade?) you will need to rewrite the app.
