    Hey Everyone

I would like to generate a asm-file with my program, and then get Visual Basic to send it to the com-port.

My Program simulates dot-matrix LED's, and the user can write a text or just click the circles that is simulating the LED's.
When the user press "DONE", the program should make an asm-file, and then maybe translate the asm file to binary or hex.. Any Ideas?

asm file for what? Why would you need to send an asm file to the com port? what's connected there? Write text like what? What's the correlation between the text, LED clicking pattern and the asm file? And again, asm file for what?
