would you give me free shipping to the other side of the planet like the chinese do?

    -That's just a joke, I really don't need it.

    Weighs something like 15kg!

Probably worth at least £200 in scrap metal alone. A new one is around £450.

£200 seems quite steep for a variac. I haven't seen it, so I may be wrong, but you can usually find them on ebay for less than $100 (£64). Is this one of the larger, especially fancy ones? Photos please?

    It's a 15 amp device. That's essentially a 4000VA transformer. Not cheap!

    (I've got two :D)

I don't actually want £200 for it....... I only paid £52 for two...

Ah, 15 amp. That would explain a lot. The ones on ebay for less than £65 are only 2-5 amp.

I might be willing to go as high as £20, but I'm not sure about that. Would you take £20, or is that too low for you?

    Regards

Ah, forgot about shipping. Sorry, that's a bit out of my price range at the moment :( I might be able to jump for it once I start my new job, but it'll be a few weeks. Keep me posted.
