Where can i buy a variable capacitor? Such as a place like radio shack. If there is a regular store i can go to, that is not online, would be good. Thanks for any places i can get one of these.

What is the range of the capacitor? That can make quite a difference.

 

A variable capacitor's range is in the picofarads. They were widely used for tuning radios.
