    Hi,

I want to replace a 20MHz XTAL of HC49 package with low profile 3.2x2.5mm 20MHz to save board space. What should I look for?

    -HC49 have drive level <100mW
    -3.2mmx2.5 have drive level <50mW

It is a CAN Open based application using ATMEL's 8-bit microcontroller.

    Regards

    Shan

Make sure that you use the proper size capacitors for the crystal - refer to the product datasheet for this info.
