I am a newbie in creating electronic projects. I am trying to make a timer controlled high Amp power socket to plug in my electric room heater. The mechanical timer's pins will be connected to the DC current. When the timer is on, the circuit will close and the optoisolator will signal the 40 Amps triac to allow the AC current and the heater will be switched on. I am using MOC3083 Zero-Cross Optoisolator with BTA41-600b 40 Amps Triac. However, I am confused about the pin schematics of MOC3083 Optoisolator. Can somebody please give me the circuit diagram for this project.

    Thanks in advance.
