Username textbox on Sign In page doesn't get keyboard focus

When I click on the Log In button, I can't type my username until I click in the textbox for it. The expected behavior would be for the textbox to already have keyboard focus so that I can start typing in it right away. I'm using the orange theme in Firefox 39 on Windows 8.1.
