can any one tell me a solution for usb to serial converter circuit.

i want to make a true serial converter using ft232.

What's your definition of "True Serial"? I ask because after reading through the data sheet...

I didn't see RS232 input - output levels, if that's what you're looking for. It will drive a MAX232 that does though.

 

There are also one Chip available from Prolific. Its part number is PL2303
