i'm looking for the method that can be used to detect the usb signal using the normal oscilloscope....if there a way to probe it using the normal multimeter????

 

not reliably. USB utilizes packetized digital data, whose occurance, may or may not produce any average dc value.

 

so...is there any other ways to detect or monitor the signal waveform?

 

The waveform is best captured on an oscilloscope or a logic analyzer. If instead it is the content you are concerned about then the Beagle Analyzer from Total Phase would be my first choice for a cost effective tool.
