UPS Schematic and explanation

    Hi Guys,
    I'am working as an electrician on board a vessel, i have a problem because two of our UPS for the backup for the control of our main computer and the alarm systen on the engine was not working it does not ON. This problem happen the same to the two UPS GE EP Series. Is there anybody can help me resolve this problem.

    You will need to provide a better explanation of the problem and a schematic or at least a block diagram of the system. Some diagnostics about what you have discovered so far will help.

    I suggest that you first test the batteries in the UPS to make sure that they are charged to specifications. If they are OK, contact GE technical support, and give them as much information as you can about your situation.

    Having shipboard computers go down is a very bad thing in this day and age.
