Hi there, I have a UPS LP33 400 Vac GE Series 5, 40 KVA.
It show a 4118 alarm code: Battery Fault
I changed the battery set but the alarm message continue almost each 24 hours; and on battery metric we have:
Vp: 272V
Vn: 242V
T: 25 °C
Charge Level: 100%
Autonomy: 41 min
Charge mode: Boost
Why Vp and Vn are different?
Is neecessary to change any parameter to activate the new battery set?
I would appreciate, any hint to solve the issue.
TIA,

First step is to use a meter and check voltage of each battery.
No need to disconnect them just put black and red leads on the appropriate terminals of a battery and record voltage. If there is a bad battery you will find it.

Kermit2, thanks for your reply.
We already did; the bank have central tab, one was charged the other one not. We exchange the banks and the bank with low charge charges normally. Are there a charging problem? Although there is no error message.

Could you post a simple diagram of your battery bank connection?

It is better than just guessing. Right now it sounds like you have a charge problem, but it could be just an overlooked connection or something similarly simple.

A nice clear photograph of the inside would also be helpful.
