me and my partner are programming a fighting game on a UP2 board for our final project in a digital systems design course. Instead of using switches on the board i would like to program it where i could use the wires of an old super nintendo controller or another simpler type. the problem being i have searched alot on the internet finding schematics for the wires to use as inputs, but it being much more complicated then desired. they incorporate capacitors and resistors which aren't even being used in this course. i just need a plan old schematic thats detailed enough to where i could figure out which wire leads from which button so i know where to hook it up to the board. anyone know of any websites that dedicate themselves to posting schematics of versions of game controllers that are somewhat simple?
