Hi! I have a problem with this chip.
It's a disposable external chip of a uv lamp.
Philips uses this chip as a pay-per-use key.
The expensive lamp is mine, but i have to buy this chips to use it!
Every chip allow me to use the lamp for 4 cycles of 15minutes.
I would like to use the lamp without limits.
Have you got any suggestions?
Thanks

Ps: on the black component i can read: 2D+ 1002 317B2

It is likely to be a microcontroller.

Can you show the PCB of the lamp itself? It will be much much easier to "hack" the lamp electronics directly.

And what product is it where they try to force you to only use it 4 times before buying another? Did you agree to any sort of contract?
