    Hello,

I've been designing electronics for my own use for quite some time now (18 years).

I am interesting in starting my own business selling electronics products, but I am unsure of what regulations I need to comply with. I know of a few, RoHS, and WEEE, but as regards to emc i am unsure as to what spec I need to design to, same goes for CE marking what do I need to do there.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards

    David

Are you thinking of providing any RF products? If you are, you'll have to comply with RF regulations in your area. For example, the FCC ensures regulations for the United States.

What will you products are you thinking of providing?

I wish you luck. A common theme here at AAC is how hard it is to get parts in that neck of the woods. I don't have a clue from here, it seems taxes and local accounting is what would scare me.
