I would like to know the type of dc motor which is commonly used in the manufacturing of toys. Is it of brushless dc types? I have read that the brushless dc type need to use power electronics to run it, while in the present simple toys there are no such components. it is just a motor connected to a dc supply.

i think the brushless type require the vfd type drives hence it probably isnt used in toys. we usually use the one with brushes.
maybe some1 with more knowledge will post some info.

There are a lot of toys I have not yet torn apart. The ones I have torn apart had motors with brushes.
