I have bought some strain gauge rosettes like those in the figure.
In the attached datasheet there are two values of transverse sensitivity.
Why? What does it mean?
I think because there are two measuring grids. So if I apply a tensile force the two transverse sensitivities are referred to them. Precisely, if I apply a vertical tensile force the grid to the left is characterized by 0.3% of transverse sensitivity and the grid at right by 1.1%.
Is it correct? I don't know...
